Joe came to see me in Dallas when I worked at Presbyterian Hospital there. He and his wife stopped in for coffee one day and he shared his artwork with me. He taught art to the young and was a gifted and talented artist who created artwork for his Christmas cards. He came into the hospital for a heart valve replacement and brought his son to meet me before going in for the procedure. Sadly, he did not make it out of the hospital. Reuniting with him after so many years was an enjoyable experience that ended too soon! I am blessed to have copies of some of his favorite sketches among my treasures.
I looked in the year book and when I saw your face I remembed us cutten up and having fun in some classes together but thats as far as my short memoy can take me. I also remember you as a friend. Promise, when I see you again I'll listen while you remind me of all our good times.
