Another design change on our site! I thought I would try something different to end 2010 and start the new year.  Hope you like it.  The site access tracker indicates we've had almost 12,000 visitors since April of 2009.  Awesome!

Here's hoping that 2011 finds you all healthy, happy and enjoying all the blessings the Good Lord may bestow upon you.  Celebrate the New Year and be safe!

Cindi

Debbie,

I can send Manual.  He is my shovel.  Just one problem he has been short-handled due to the nasty ice and snow storm we had last year in Amarillo.  I had to dig my pickup out 6 or 7 times along with numerous other folks.

Take care.

Randall: Welcome back! We've missed you and your tales. The activity on the site slowed considerably during your absence.  Thanks for sharing your varmint stories.  I seem to recall that one of our classmates was actually bitten by a rattlesnake. I'm thinking it was Daryl Tucker . . . anyone remember?

The posting below is from Suzette (Kreig) Boyd. She actually submitted it under "post announcement".  Once approved by the site administrator, an announcement attaches to the bottom of the Home Page.  I suggested that she post this on the forum or send it via email to the folks mentioned. I didn't hear back from Suzette so I decided to post this on her behalf. I figured if it was important enough to her to take the time to submit it, it should be posted (but not as an annoucement):

FROM: SUZETTE BOYD

I wish everyone a Healthy Happy New Year
And to my chosen sister, Susie,
Special friends Lloyd, Mark, Dale, Corny, J.K.
Love You All

I hope 2011 is rocking along well for each of you!  I'm not sure what happened to 2010 but am hoping this year doesn't fly quite as fast.  I also hope the weather scene has improved for those of you who actually experience a "winter".  We are basking in 80 degree weather here in Sunny Southern Cal.  Take care & let us hear from you on the forum.  Don't be bashful - post something today!

Thanks girls!! (Connie, Cindi).

The bowl games have taken up all my time. There was one every night. Sorry. I love my classmates, but I love my bowl games tooooooooooooo! Roll Tide! War Eagle! Fear the Frogs! To bad the Long Horns were not there.

But I'm back after a near death holiday experience for several in my family. First Kathy got K.Oed. while Christmas shopping at Wally World. She and another grandma were fighting over an action figure for the grandsons when Kathy took a hard right hook  knocking out her two front teeth which Santa replaced for Christmas. Then Grandma got run over by a reindeer, bless her soul, but she jumped right back up and shot Rudolph's lights out. Deer meat for Christmas. And me I got nothing for Christmas cause some one framed me as a bad boy. But Christmas night was one to never forget. First Santa landed on the roof but sent his helper down the chimney cause he was smaller. Will, I had left the fire burning to long and when the helper landed on the red hot embers it caught all the presents on fire burning them up. The fire frightened the reindeer who leaped off the roof landing on the chicken coop where Henry, our prise 500# turkey was roosting and killed him. So we had PotRoast for Christmas while holding up umbrella's to keep dry in the snow storm as it fell threw our burnt up roof.

Hope you had a merry Christmas tooooooooo!

Jan Minchew (Sparks)

So glad you Cindi, Connie, Kay and Perry have checked in...  And, that's all I'm doing - "checkin' in".

P.S.  Hey Randall - did you know that "Randall" means "Leader of the Pack"?  Ha!  You lead, we'll follow.

01/22/11 11:47 AM #752

Randy Stephens

HEY MINCHEW!!!!

Ant it cool! Leader of the pack! Hell, half the time I can't even get my horses to follow me! Some leader Huh!

Well, to answer your question I kinda sorta knew. The English Shield for Randall Is A Wolf. The name Randall means Shield Wolf and Wolf in Cherokee tradition is a teacher. A teacher is a leader of sorts. So there you go girl. That's why I changed my name to Randall. Randy just means horny and weren't we all back when, some still are! Aren't you glad my name wasn't Randy Randall (a horny leader)!  OMG!!LOL!!! I won't even ask who would have followed???

Might be fun to take an unanimous pole though!

We had a beautiful day in Austin on Saturday.  My Junior Catholic Daughters and I with 3 mothers attended the Right to Life March to the Capital and Ralley at the Capital.  This was a wonderful experience to be with these young ladies.  We started the day in Pray then Mass and then to the march.  I get more surprised each day at how these young ladies respond to issues in our world, I am very proud of them

Cindy I was wanting to put picture on my profile but could not figure it out.

HEY DUDES AND DUDETS!!!! BOYS AND GIRLS!!! MEN AND WOMEN!!! I can't say ladies and gentlemen cause I know ya'll tooooooooooooo well. So I'll say HEY CLASSMATES!!! I'm cool with that and ya'll holler back. Celinda that means you guys also. OK!

Two weeks ago. No I'll go back to Christmas. Even before Christmas we had freezing rain and snow. Then for the first time that I can remember in the Good Old South we had a white Christmas. Two inches at my house. The next week we had an inch of snow. The next week a dusting of snow. Then two weeks ago we had seven inches and it stayed on the ground for a week. Last week we had another inch of snow and tomorrow they are calling for two to five inches and some ice. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY SUNNY OLD SOUTH!!!!! Man if it wasn't for global warming the South would be the New North Pole!!!

Pondering this stupendous situation it has dawned on me just what the problem is. It all the dam Yankees fault. They have been retiring and moving to the South for years and they are bringing with them their Yankee cold hearts. All this has had a global cooling on the Good Old South. So my Sunny South has now become the Snowy South. Dam all you guys, Yankees!!

SIMON!! You go girl!!! Influence that younger generation every chance you get!!!

Deborah Nelson (Ferriter)

Hold up there Randall,  I live in what I refer to "snowmass", since we have had nothing but snow since the 1st of the year, state has already spent millions of dollars on snow removal and we still have February and March to go.... but now about your damn yankee statement... I might take offense to that since I live up here... not a "yankee", but around them all day long...so we don't all have "cold" hearts, in fact my is very warm and still beating....thanks God....take care and stay warm, snuggle up with your wife, that will keep you warm

Debbie Cox (Johnson)

Debby,

You'll never be a "Damn Yankee", you'll always be a "Texan".  Everyone up there should be so lucky...

YOU GO DEBRA COX!!! COME ON WITH IT GIRL!! TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!! That's what I'm talking about!!!

Nelson, maybe you didn't know that you can take the Woman out of Texas but you can never take Texas out of the Woman!!!!

Girlfriend, your the only reason snowmass has spent Millions and not billions!!! Know what I mean Girl!!! It's that Texas warm heart of yours that make Mass shine (warm and fuzzy and all).

You know that there are only three kinda of people in this world. Those who are Texans, Those who wish they were Texans, and Those Texans who move out into the rest of the world to spread the Texas warmth and blessing!!!! Your one of Texas blessings moved out into the world to shine!! So shine on girlfriend and melt those cold Yankee hearts into warmth, love, brotherhood and understanding!!! Were the only hope they have!!

Now, that big snow storm I told ya'll (you guys, for Cindi's sake)about turned into just a dusting. Thank God!! How you ask? Glad you did. I'll tell you my secret, but only the brave of heart should consider following my instruction and lead! This is not for the weak of heart and shouldn't be done at home with children. Ok, I averted the big snow storm by doing a Native American Naked Sun Dance on the roof of my house with my Naked Wife Beating The War Drum and the Hound Dogs Howling below. If that doesn't scare off the snow nothing will!!

Nelson if your a braveheart you might won't to try it, but you being the Texan will have to be the one dancing naked on the roof while you naked hubby beats the war drum and your hounds howl below. If it doesn't work take two aspirin and call the doctor in the morning.

"IF I KNEW WHAT I WAS DOING I'D BE DOINT IT RIGHT NOW....."

PS. This week "... I GOT GEORIGA ON MY MIND......"   GEORGIA, GEORGIA,.........."

Athens Georgia that is. Working here at the home of the Bulldogs. If I was younger and not married to Kathy I'd pluck me one of these fine young Georgia Peaches!!! I'll leave the Bulldogs to the Tinkerbells.

Deborah Nelson (Ferriter)

Randall, there is only one issue regarding your naked dance on the roof.... the reason I can't do it is I  don't have a husband, naked or otherwise, to talk into getting on the roof...and I don't think my dog, the only man in my life, is willing to do it, especially since his legs are rather short and he doesn't like the snow anyway... but thanks for thinking of me....have  a warm and toasty day....

And yes you can take the girl out of Texas, but not the Texas out of the girl... for some reason whenever I open my mouth people know I am not from around here... go figure!!

HEY DEB!!!

Girlfriend, I'm so sorry, I didn't know. My bad, I just looked at your profile and realized my blunder. Sometimes my foot loves to get in my mouth. I am truly sorry. I didn't mean to dredge up bad memories and bad stuff for you. Didn't mean........ Hell I just wanted to make you smile or laugh and I only brought you bad vibes. I'm really sorry. That was stupid of me. I'll call you on the phone and you can reach through the phone cord and slap my face and I'll portend like I didn't like it. Ok! If I were closer I'd let you tie me up and spank me and portend like I didn't like it. LOL!!

But really I am sorry and the only way I know how to make up for it is to tell you a funny true story about our JR. High School Project. It involved you, me, some strange characters and Randy Pope. Do you remember? Does anyone else remember or want to here about it?

Seeing how it is a school story from long ago and a bit long and it's late, been on my putter all day, I'll write it tomorrow while it's snowing. Yes another on. We had freezing rain this morning and snow and sleet for tonight. If it wasn't for global warming we would all freeze to death.

OH, BY THE WAY.

I thought about changing my photo.

But J.K. created it for me and that makes it special!! Plus, I SO DAM GOOD LOOKING!!!!!! How in the hell did some of you girls keep your hands off of me!!!!!! Oh well, some didn't but we won't go there!! But others did and still don't realize what they missed. Some even made the mistake of falling to kiss me when they had the chance. The last time they set up a kissing booth for me to raise money for a good cause I busted the bank. But then Kathy made me stop! She wants all my dynamite kisses for herself. I told her that was selfish of her. She really needs to share. But, she won't. I guess she knows a good thing when it comes along! Sorry girls!! You'll just have to dream of what might have been!!! Sweet dreams!! Or sweat dreams!!!!!

"I'M TO SEXY FOR MY SHIRT.................TO SEXY............"
