Wow, I think it takes more time to recover from a class reunion than from an overseas vacation!

Cindi thanks for making this reunion such a hugh sucess, and again for this web site. Lloyd, Beverly, Jan, thanks for making Cindi Reunion Queen, she truely was and is.  And thanks to anyone and everyone that helped, it was awesome!

Mike, thanks for the videos!  Cindi, I think you have alot of black pictures because I know I took one and Kay told me that I had to open the window/shutter/flash whatever it was on the front, what can I say, I'm more familiar with my Cannon, should have brought it Friday night but didn't because I figured with the ones on the table we wouldn't need it.

Ralph, gee I just don't know, 1st you never ask me, then you stood me up!  Well, I will say that I have learned that forgiveness is the best thing, maybe we will get a chance to talk later.

Kathy Carlisle, what you posted it so true and so perfect, thank you, you should have been an author.

It was so awesome to see everyone, it is too much to post here or I would be putting folks to sleep.

Later!

I want to express to you all how very much I enjoyed the reunion.  Thank you Cindi for finding me and inviting me--you have absolutely no idea how much this has meant to me!    Thank you all for opening your heart and sharing your reunion with me even though I didn't get the opportunity to graduate at THS.  The THS, 1970 class is a group of special people that I'm extremely proud to say I know and spending this past weekend with you brought tears of sadness to my heart and eyes that I didn't graduate with you all.   Each and everyone of you are truly "special" people!

Thanks Cindi, Lloyd, Beverly, Cornie and all the people that made the reunion possible.  I know many many hours of precious time was poured into making sure everyone had fun!  What wonderful memories were created this last weekend!

Bryan, what can I say?  MIRACLES really do come true!

Donna,  I have missed you greatly in my life and enjoyed visiting with you so very much.  The word you got from GOD was truly right on!  Just reminds me that we have to listen and know that HE will  bless us in the most amazing ways!

Mike, thanks for the video!  You truly have the most wonderful girl on your arm that I've ever met!  What a blessing you must feel to have her in your life.

J.K. --it was good to see you and visit with you & your wonderful wife.  Jungle Book has always been a favorite movie of mine!!

Steve Raymond--   I remember us shyly passing notes in Jr. high.  You've grown up to be a handsome man.  It was great to visit with you!

Everyone else--thanks once again for letting me crash the reunion.  I loved visiting with you all and updating those pictures I had in my mind of you all as 13 year olds.  You've all aged well--just like fine wine--it just gets better and better!!

May God Bless you all greatly!     --   Katrina (Kate)

Cindi, if it not for your creation I might not have found my soul mate...ever !

J.K., I had forgotten how good of a person you were, really enjoyed the visit !

Larry, Larry, Larry...you made me cry twice seeing you...and they say "big" boys don't do that ??

Deltah, I still never got my kiss ???

Donna, the words you offered made me feel clean and sure of my new feelings, thank you darling !!

Randy P, I'm gonna send you some of my "special" energy to get you back to the Pope we've always known...you get healthy, hear !?!?

Randall...I'm soooo glad that you were'nt around a computor for the weekend so we all could have a little peace and quiet for a change. SHUT UP !!!  Kidding...love ya man !

Cindi,
If we have pictures, do you want us to send them to you, or is there a way we can post them?

Celinda (Cindi) Ward (Hanna)

Hi Connie: You will need to send them to me so I can create a link. I'm making an album and will add a 2nd or even 3rd if necessary so I encourage all of you to send me your still shots.  At this time I have only about 85 or 90 pics that are clear enough to post.  I mis-stated the number of possible pictures in an earlier posting.  There were only 15 exposures per camera and I developed 23 cameras for a total of 345 pictures.  Like I said earlier, there were lots and lots of black photos.  I should have announced that they were flash cameras with instructions on how to use the flash.  Oh well, live & learn!  Look for the first album later today. I'm putting the finishing touches on it now!  I only have one photo of the parade and I would like one that shows our banner.   I know I took a picture with Deltah's camera of the tail end of our float so maybe she can send it or anyone else who has one can do the same!  Thanks to all.  The more photos we have the better!  TGIF!!! Cindi

I just posted 98 photos from our reunion events!  You can access these by opening the "JULY 17, 2010 PHOTOS" file on the left side of the Home Page.  The link is posted underneath our group photo. I have also posted the link on the Home Page & at the end of this message (don't want to miss anyone).  Please let me know if you have any difficulty getting the slide show to play.  Be sure & turn up your speakers!  Enjoy!  Cindi

What a Boat-Load of fun the reunion was! I am still smiling.

We all lived in Tulia during our "Coming of Age". The town and it's Churches, our classmates, teachers and parents formed the basis of who we are today. I lived in Tulia only 10 years but they were the most important years of my life.

Cindi, you are probably not aware, but J.K. wanted to help with your Reunion Queen Coronation - he played an important role. I won't tell you what his contribution was but I did tell him your favorite color is Pink!

P.S. Next reunion - maybe we should consider a "Parade Bus" as opposed to a Float!!!

Cindy thank you so much again for creating this web. I have spent several night looking at it and reading all of Randy S comments. NOT REALLY.

The slide show from the reunion are great and I think that I can know put names with faces.  My daughter Crystle sat here on the couch tonight and watched it a couple of times.  She said that this is a really nice.  Cindy you have not only given us a place to go but our children and grandchildren also enjoy, or at least mine have.

Mike G. Thank you for the slide show before.

Ralph, loved the y-tube put more on it makes it nice when you are reading all of the comments.

God bless

Oh!! by the way I never saw that many cowboy hats when we were in High School.  In fact I remember Rhonda S and I were thought of being a little wierd because we enjoyed cowboy dancing and rodeos by our fellow classmates.  How time change.

HEY!

Brain... All I can say is..... I'M BACK !!!! So, set down, buckle up, shut up, and scoot over DUDE!!!! LOL!! Just kidding. Not. I was finally run out of Texas early Friday morning after a week of fun in the sun. You know the old "Towns just not big enough for the both of us," kinda stuff. It was great to lean in to the Texas wind again and dream under that big Texas sky. If I hadn't left when I did I might have got married to the farmers daughter. Oh, I for got. Already did that.

What a blast the reunion was. Hadn't had such fun in 40 years. It was great to see all of you again. All of you look just like you did when you graduated. Something must have been in that Tulia water.

Cindi, Singer and all others who helped to make the reunion a success................ THANK YA, THANK YA THANK YA! Thanks for your labors of love that made the night under the stars with all my rowdy friends such a blast.

Cindi, Gleason............ Great job with the photo's and slides. But I noticed that there are more pics of the wifey than of me. I know she's not better looking than me. What's up with that?

Miller....... I'm working on that story for you.

Pope....... If you ever read this thing tell me if you think I should write the butt naked Red River story.

Larry...... Sorry I missed that beer with you in Lubbock. My brother-in-law had me knuckled down working on tractors, building equipment, moving equipment, plowing and sowing grass. Had to sneak out of Texas in the wee hours of the morning or he would still be slave driving me.

And here's to all the 1970 Tulia girls, (the HOT, Sexy, goddesses) that I graduated with. WOW, did God bless Texas.

Toes back in the water, Ass back in the sand...............................

Randall

 PS

Kathy said to say hey to ya'll. She said everyone was so friendly and nice. She really enjoyed meeting you all and had a blast.

Boy do ya'll  have her fooled. I guess we'll have to talk.

Hey Ralphie B.

Thanks for the tunes. Listening to them now. I really like the London song. I've decided to be like the Armadillo. They swam the Big Muddy (Mississippi River) and came to Ala-Freeking-Bama. So, I'm going to swim the Big Muddy and go back to Texas.

You can take the man out of Texas but you can never take Texas out of the man.

If any of you have any reunion photos you would like to contributeI suggest you check out smilebox.com.  Connie and I both used it to create our slide shows and they offer a 14 day free trial and it's very user friendly.  You can then paste your link (or send me the info and I'll do it) into this forum.  I will also post the link on the photo page and on the home page so everyone can view!

Ralphie B.

Come on down, take your shoes of and stay a while. Bring Mom and the preaching on. I'm real good at drinking beer and she's probably real good at preaching. So, she can preach and I'll drink. If your lucky I might even sing a song while my old hound dog howls, both of us slipping in and out of harmony. After that you and Mom may both need a beer.

YOOOOOOO!

"Just sitting here resting my bones and this loneness won't leave me alone." Yew baby. Too much time on my hands. I know. I know. Well maybe, but to me this is better than watching TV. This is my connection to back home with my buds. That is till Cindi kicks me off for mouthing and taking up to much space with my bull............... Maybe she will be understanding to a broken down old man who can't find anyone to drink beer with out here. But till then, get you some of this.................. That's what I'm saying!!!! It's just a thing. Know what I mean. Hey I'll shut up and listen if you'll talk. But till then, LOOK OUT dudes and dudetts. I'm coming at you till you mouth drops open or you fingers start walking. HELL YAW!!! Cinai you've created a monster!!!

thunderstorms in Tuscaloosa tonight. I thought about running naked in the rain, but scared of lightening. Know what I mean dudes and dudites.

Ralphie B.   You gota stop sending these jute box songs. All I do now is listen to them and I should be writing more stories of back when. If I keep this up Singer will have to start sharing his oxygen with me. Is that gay or what? Swapping snot? OH HELL.

"I'm alive and doing well." Or I'm just alive. Whatever!

Celinda (Cindi) Ward (Hanna)

To all: I just wanted to thank those of you who picked up a camera, activated the flash mechanism and captured your classmates on film during our reunion. I just watched the slideshow again and there are some great photos there.  Thanks again to Connie for her parade slideshow!

I added a few new pictures to my original slideshow (compliments of Vicki & Jimmy Kiker).  Also, there were two missing cameras so if you ended up with one that contains reunion photos please forward the pics to me to add to the site.  I also had a couple of cameras with several pictures left so I did not get them developed at this time.  If I end up with additional reunion photos after those cameras are developed I will add them later.   There were a few of you who managed to dodge those cameras quite well. I think I did manage to have at least one photo of every classmate in attendance but for 3 of you there seemed to be only one!

Randy P: Hey, I am not (and never will be) a censor so feel free to carry on my friend.  Without your postings the forum might just dry up all together!  There are those of us who check in daily to see what wisdom you might share.

J.K.: My apologies for not thanking you sooner for your role in the coronation ceremony!  You have my sincere appreciation for your contribution.

Again, it was a great gathering with good friends, wonderful memories and lots of laughs (and we have the photos to prove it)!

I still love ya girl. Just verify you sources. LOL. ROF. LOL.

Sorry. Don't be mad. I'm just messing with you.

HEY Girl.

Your such a good sport and so much fun. Oh, such a darling.

P,s and Q's came about in English pubs where they served pints and quarts of beer and you had to keep up with what you drank. Your pints (p's) and quarts (Q's). It's a beer thing.

And "I'm pretty good at drinking beer!"

Nite, nite

Cindi,

Well I guess you were right about Randy S. wisdom whether he wants to admit it or not, he knows where the "P's & Q's" expression started, I know I didn't.

Ralph, I like your new picture, your lookin good!

Is everyone as exhausted after the reunion as me?
