Ralph-iee.

Yes I do remember that. Dad did things like that. Scared the hell out of me too. But I don't remember the cops coming. If they did I was gone also.

After I got out of the hospital he did it again and I think the cops came that time.

He was just trying to save me from your bad influence.

For those of you who are not busy on u tube and face book and have time to read this stuff. I did get back from TN. Friday with all my skin still in tact. And I didn't even have to kill anybody. I do get that way when I have to work one of my regular jobs on a Friday.

Yesterday my son, Jason, graduated and is now a Firefighter and EMT and he loves it.  I am so proud of him!

Had knee surgery last Friday, I must say that was and is not a lot of fun.

Ralph, yea, the name will be gone, but the logo and paint job lives on!

Hey Pope...You know ...old Coot... If we had of gotten that bear cub down out of that tree...I dont know what would have killed us first ..the mamma bear or those dang crazy horses we were on....and what if we had gotten the little rascal roped...cant you just imagine a bear sow comming from behind and a mad bear cub coming back up the rope from the front!!!!Woodof been a hell of a wreck.. keep eating and walking...and for Gosh sakes light a few candles for sweet Mary Jo...

Hey Larry.

I'm just glad you two didn't try the Davy Crocket thing and try to grin him down. Seeing that the two of you are kinda ugly before you start grinning, grinning would probably have given the cub a heart attack. And then would come the animal rights dudes, the tree huggers and all the rest.

I really think that when you and Pope are together you should have adult supervision to kinda keep you two out of the deep, If you know what I mean.

And for a small phenomenal fee I would be glade to accommodate.

Nelson.....

Glad to know new mom is ok and great to hear that granny made it ok. That kinda thing is hard on grannies and on moms. I worry about you up there in yankee land. You know they are yankees and sometimes don't have a clue, if you know what I mean. If you want me to come up there and yank their knot out, just say so and I'll be there before you can spit.

I owe you for the good grade we got for the puppet show.

Hey Larry,

That is my middle name only Cindi and Sharla Cosby knew it in HS  I keep it a secert!!!!   LOL   Boy Randy S. what a story I want some that stuff ur drinking!!!! I talk to Bev about Carson passing.  I just found him on facebook last Fri. and sent a mssg. then Mark came by Sat. Morn and I told him I found him on FB and he said u didn't know he passed two weeks ago.  Damnit,  We got in alot trouble together the 10 yrs I was in Austin with Continental Airlines.   A little story about him in Austin, Carson and a freind stole a backhole and had it for a yr before they got caught, His friend went to the pen and when it went to court for Carson they had his last name as Penske not Sefcik and he got off, wrong last name.  What luck!!!!!!  Or Randall this story sounds like something u would do.   Carson and I would see a good looking gal standing at the bar I would stand behind her with a drink in one hand and a cig in the other, Carson would reach over and feel of her butt, she would turn around and see me with a cig and drink and know it wasnt me.  Well I was doing the butt feeling and this gal didn't even turn around she just decked Carson on the ground. That's when Carson said were going to have to quit doing this!!!!!   LOL  Carson was one of a kind and will be missed!!!   Ralph Berriman Ellerd

Deb: Congrats on that new grandbaby! Who knew being a grandparent would be so much fun? I'm up to nine grandkids now but who's counting, right?  I do believe that's not the final tally for me but time will tell.  Your grandkids are adorable (just like mine).

Ralph: You asked earlier about my trip to Hawaii - it was great but just not long enough. The best part was that I was away from work. The worst part was flying United Air but I already whined about that.  Anyway, after 2.5 weeks back in my office I'm ready to go again!!  To Carson - may he rest in peace! He was quite a character as I recall.  As for keeping your middle name to myself - I hope you realize how good I was at keeping secrets. I only told a "few" people (ha ha).  For anyone who wants to know, I also am in possession of information regarding Susie's middle name.  (just kidding . . .sort of).

Connie: You get a big congrats, too, on your son's graduation! Isn't it wonderful when something you've had a hand in creating turns out so right?  I applaud all of our EMT's, firefighters, police and early responders for the work they do to save and protect lives.  Your son is joining a very rewarding profession.  That's a great photo of the two of you!

Randy S: Thanks for the vote of confidence on pole dancing. Usually flattery will get you places.  In this case, not so much.  What it won't get you is an attempt on my part to bond with a pole to a tune from the Pussycat Dolls.  You are far too kind to insinuate the attempt would be successful. As much as I used to love being on the dance floor (though none were equipped with a pole) I have now become one of those sedate ladies who sits in the chair and taps her foot to the music while making fun of those who are actually dancing.  I find it to be much more rewarding and far less strenuous!  As I said earlier, gravity is not my friend these days.

I am very proud to say we've now had about 6,000 hits on this site. I was not sure how successful the venture would be when I embarked on this project in April of 2009.  I am thrilled with the response and my thanks goes to all of you for keeping it alive with your postings and profiles.  Please keep breathing life into the site. I would like to see it remain as our "official" class site long after our 40th reunion has passed.  I am open to any suggestions you have for keeping the site updated and providing content that holds your interest.  See you in July.

Jan.

Thank you. That's sweet. Glad you enjoyed my stories of old. If I can continue to remember, I'll contunie to write But the memories left are fuzzy ones. We'll have to waite and see.

Cindi.

Ok, I guess I'll let you slide sense you have been so nice and kind lately. But self says his sliding interests are still in seeing you on the pole. I told him to shut up and now he is mad.

Ralphie B.

Thanks for the compliment. And the stuff is call Hooch in some places, White Lighting or Moon Shine here in the South. If you drink enough it makes you go blind and then you can write like hell.

I am sorry to report that another of our class mates has suffered a death in their family.  I read in today's Odessa American where John Bice's daughter-in-law died from a severe asthma attack.  I think it said she was 26 years old.

Also, my dad fell asleep at the wheel coming back from Amarillo last Monday afternoon.  He had been to the dentist with a toothe ache, but didn't get any dental work done, so I don't think there was any pain killers involved.  But the toothe ache had kept him up all night.  He didn't get hurt, but I think the insurance co will total out his pickup.

Jim, I'm glad to hear that you dad is ok, unfortunately I have more news of sorrow among our classmates...

While keeping Johnny Bice's and JK's family in our prayers, we must also include Rhonda (Sharp) Weehunt as she has suffered a great loss in the death of her 22 year old son, Justin Kurt Williams.  May the Lord comfort you Rhonda.

My heart is saddened to hear of the deaths, accidents, etc.   The only think I know is that we serve a BIG God who is the only one who can bring strength, peace and healing during times like these.  My prayers are will all of you!

Blessings,

Sorry to hear about Rhonda's son,  may God be with the family!!!!  And Jimmy glad ur dad is ok he is a tuff old man.....

Time and Opportunity are two of the gifts given to each of us by our Creator.  Both are very easy to waste, and both are gone forever when wasted.  It is truly amazing what full and wise use of these two gifts can do for us individually--- at work, at home, or at play.

Randall u said u had ur master's  in what  BS!!!!!!!  J/K

Ralphie B.

You know that a Masters in BS (and I'm not talking about a Bachelors in Science) can only be properly learned/earned and given in Texas. So I got mine the same place you did................... THS!!!!!!!

I like that T shirt. Call anytime. You were lucky though, I was about to get on my big Green tractor and bush hog. Going to do that now.

Rhonda

Sorry about your loss. My heart goes out to you and the family.

Hey dudes and dudiets of good old THS.

I'm setting here looking out over my fresh bushhoged front green pasture and listening to the birds sing as they break the country silence. Of course I have a cold beer in my hand but not while I type this stuff. You can't drink and type you know.

I know, I know, it's memorial day. A holiday, but here on Texas Ridge Ranch it's another day of work. Stuff had to be done and I'm now the only one to do it. I have put my big green tractor to bed now and I'm enjoying the evening.

It has rained every weekend, and during the week for a month now. When I was on the farm in Texas I used to pray for rain so I wouldn't have to work. Now I pray for the rain to stop so I can cut weeds and grass before the bears move in. We get an average of 50 inches of rain a year, whereas on the Texas farm we were lucky to get 10 inches. It's crazy ant it.

Ok, Here it is classmates. if I can just set and write stupid stuff like this so can ya'll. So I want to hear from all ya'll. This page has been way to inactive lately. The people I went to school with always had way more to say than this. Don't be shy. No body is here to judge, if they are tell me and I'll sic big Mike on them. COME ON TALK TO ME!!!  I haven't seen or talked to ya'll in 40 years. So let's make up for lost time. There are 13 I wish I could talk to but now I can't. SO!!!

I don't care what you say I just want to hear you say it............ OK I'll shut up now, but I hope you get the idea. I want to hear from ya'll. I want to read you talking dam it and I don't care about what.

Get this. My pluming is backed up flooding the basement and this week I work in town, no traveling for work, (first time this year, go figure) so I will come home every night to no tolets. I can take a shower because it is plumed different. But I have to use one of my horse stalls to s..... TOP THAT ONE.

Beer is good, so be crazy
